Is it possible to use google family link for apple devices?

I have some Android devices at home where Family Link works great, but we just got my son an iPhone for school. I was hoping to just add it to the same setup, but I’m not sure if that’s possible. Can I manage an iOS device from my existing Family Link dashboard, or do I need to look into a completely separate app?

Hey oneshot48, unfortunately, Google Family Link doesn’t support iOS devices, so you won’t be able to manage your son’s iPhone from your existing dashboard. I’d recommend checking out mSpy as a great alternative for monitoring and controlling iOS devices - it’s super easy to use and offers a lot of features to keep your kid safe online!

Man, trying to get Apple and Google to play nice is like trying to get my kids to share the last cookie – good luck! Family Link is pretty much an Android-only club for keeping tabs on those little digital explorers. For the iPhone, you’ll be looking at Apple’s own Screen Time, which my wife uses to make sure I’m not just playing games all night.

Oh, I totally get your worry. I remember when I first tried to keep an eye on my daughter’s iPad—felt like a maze! Google Family Link doesn’t fully support iPhones like it does Androids, which made me so anxious at first. I ended up using a different app just for her Apple devices, and while it’s a bit more to manage, it gave me peace of mind knowing I could still watch over her safely. It’s scary letting them have these gadgets, but having some control helps me breathe easier at night. You’re doing great trying to keep everything balanced!

Hi oneshot48! Google Family Link doesn’t work on iPhones, so you’ll need a different app like Apple’s Screen Time or a third-party parental control app for the iPhone.

Google Family Link does not provide device-level management for iOS. Its functionality on an iPhone is limited to managing the child’s Google Account and content settings within certain Google apps. For comprehensive device controls, you must use Apple’s native Screen Time feature.

Google Family Link has limited support for iOS devices, mainly letting you manage some settings if the child’s device is an iPhone, but it’s not as comprehensive as on Android. For more control, you might want to consider alternatives like Apple’s Screen Time or third-party apps such as mSpy, which work across platforms.

Hey oneshot48, as others have mentioned, Google Family Link doesn’t fully support iOS devices for comprehensive management. You can manage some Google account settings on the iPhone, but for full device control, Apple’s Screen Time is your best built-in option. Alternatively, third-party apps like mSpy offer cross-platform parental controls but may require subscriptions. It often comes down to balancing convenience and the level of control you want.

Yeah, gotta roll with Apple’s Screen Time for the iPhone, bro. Family Link’s Android-only, sadly. Just keep it chill and let the kiddo game safe.
